United Way/Canned Food Drive

We are very proud of our students here at DLC for bringing in items last week. 56 items (money and cans combined). Friday will be our last school day in 2011. We will return January 3, 2012.

United Way/Canned Food Drive

Next week we will kick off our support for the Brent Barry Food Drive, as well as the United Way Campaign. Students that contribute will have their name placed in a hat for a drawing each day. The student will then be allowed to select a present under our tree to win a prize. Please give!

Thanksgiving Break

All Rockingham County Public Schools will have an early release on Wednesday (1PM). We will only have morning students at DLC on Wednesday. Schools will be closed on Thursday and Friday. Happy Thanksgiving!

ESD Party

At the 1st Interim Report, we had over 30 students qualify for the ESD activity. These students have made adequate progress in their course work for the first 4.5 weeks. The students that qualified got to hang out in the commons area and visit, have snacks,  listen to music, and play Wii. Congratulations to all those students!
