The Rock Keeps Lifting Us Higher

East Rock’s Debate Team – The Debate squad took second place among the
Single A schools in the state finals in April. Tristan Meadows took first place in
the Lincoln-Douglas form. In the Congress-style debates, Victoria Munoz, Matthew

Good, and Garrett Taylor introduced bills to other debaters who served as
legislators and judges. Tim Davis is the coach of the debate team.

P. Buckley Moss Invitational – Congratulations to Ashton Dean for winning 1st place

and Heather Offenbacker receiving honorable mention for their sculptures at the P. Buckley Moss Invitational juried art show. Also congratulations to the following students for being accepted to showcase their art work at the P. Buckley Moss Invitational: Josh Gooden, Danielle Kuzma, Abigail Lopez, Jessica Hinkle, Kelsey Stoneham, and Clara Churchill.
