April 26th, 20122nd Grade FunWe are having so much fun raising money for Think Pink week! This is a busy week at school with flight day, the mini relay, and JFHMS band performing for us! Please check out the new pictures under the picture page at the top! Also, we will be having a corn hole tournament Friday night at 6:00 at LEES. Please come out and enjoy a bouncy house and delicious food!!

Due to a snow day and Ms. Howard having the flu, my reading groups will nto haDue to a snow day and illness Ms. Howard’s reading classes do not have spelling homework this week. There will not be a spelling test this Friday! Enjoy your week off!! Also, my homeroom will not have math homework this week. ALL homework will return next Monday as usual.
Friday the 9th my class will have a China Test. Please help your child review that bag of information.
Also please try to return that baggie to my class by Friday. Thanks for all your help.
Friday March 16th is the FUN FAIR at LEES….come one come all!@!!!! For a night of FUN!!!

Check out our great class plate!!! come to the PTA auction on February 11th and bid on this one of a kind plate!!!
Also, Decade Day is tomorrow Friday the 27th. Help your child to choose an appropriate outfit from another decade! Be creative!

Please remember to dress your child in warm clothes each day. If it is nto raining, snowing, or below 32 degrees we will be going out to play!! Thanks! Remember we are still looking for art supplies for our Art basket. All items need to be turned in by Feb. 1st. This basket will be auctioned off at the PTA auction on February 11th. Last, please check out the homework page, news letter page, and pictures page for updates! We will be sending home info about the 100th day as well!! Have a wonderful week!

Wowwwww! It has been a whirl wind week for our class but we are finally back on track and ready to learn! This week we are taking the PALS reading test. Remember to go to bed early and eat a good breakfast.
Also, this week we are finishing our unit on Weather! (Let’s hope for some snow so we can discuss that type of weather this week!) Our weather unit test is on Friday the 13th. Please use the study guide that was sent home last week to help your child study. Also, you can check out the study guide page on the class blog to study as well. Thanks for all your help at home.
Finally, we have our annual PTA Auction coming up in February! Our class is doing an ART basket and we are in desperate need of art supplies to fill this wonderful basket. If you are able to donate any items that would be wonderful. Some great examples are: paint, crayons, paper, glitter, glue, yarn, clay, markers, coloring books, and stamps!
