Rockingham County Public Schools welcomed its new teachers to the division in a 2-day teacher orientation held at Broadway High School. Rockingham Superintendent, Dr. Carol Fenn, along with Director of Human Resources, Dr. Suzan Guynn, spoke to the group offering their support and vision. They introduced RCPS administrators, principals, school board members, and others who provided information on a wide variety of topics including technology, benefits, and programs designed to support teachers in the school division. 2011-12 Rockingham Teacher of the Year, Vicki Richard, greeted the new teachers and offered them her encouragement and advice.
