This will be my last year at Elkton Elementary School teaching 4th grade! I recently was hired at Bridgewater College to teach in the Department of Education! I love my job as a teacher and I want to help instill that same love for teaching.
Although I will deeply miss the administration, my colleagues, and most of all my students! I will keep my experiences close to my heart and use them to help future teachers. Thanks for all of your support this year!

It’s SOL Review Time!!!!
Reading – From now until the Reading Test on May 16th – We will be reviewing for the SOL Test.
Spelling – This week I will assess students’ spelling ability.
Math – From now until the Math Test on May 23rd – We will be reviewing for the SOL Test.
Science: From now until the Science Test on June 1st – We will be reviewing for the SOL Test.

Spelling – 3 more weeks of spelling! Yahoo! Please make sure students complete their daily spelling assignment. Students can practice on spelling city anytime.
Math – We will continue our FINAL unit on measurement! I’m really looking forward to the MEASUREMENT OLYMPICS on May 3rd & May 4th!!
Writing: Presentations this week!
Science: This is one of my favorite units of the year! We will be learning about current electricity! Students will discover how to make circuits! We will be doing a lot of hands on learning the next two weeks! Test on Friday May 4th!

Writing: Students will continue to work on refining and polishing their VA Famous person paper. This week we will print our final copies. Students will also have the opportunity to complete a powerpoint during school. On Friday and Monday students will be able to complete a poster at school..
