Peak View Elementary

Home of the Pioneers

STEM labs and children’s engineering labs are popping up in schools across the country. Peak View is building a Makerspace in Room B7 across from our gymnasium. In our Makerspace, we plan to provide hands-on, creative ways to encourage students to design, experiment, build and invent as they engage in learning science, math, social studies, technology and language arts. Below is a list of items that we would need to get our Makerspace started. Please bring these items in on March 25th. Thanks for your help!

PreK, KG & 1st – Envelopes, writing paper, & aluminum foil

2nd grade – buttons, clothespins, & straws

3rd grade – plastic lids and caps, plastic water bottles, & egg cartons

4th grade – paper towel & toilet paper tubes, & small cardboard boxes (cereal, shoe, tissue boxes)
