Parents and Students: It is never too early to start thinking about College and the Application Process. The College Application Process can be a daunting experience.
In order to help and clarify many questions, there will be a meeting on this process. Wednesday, October 29th starting at 7pm in Spotswood’s Lecture Room, a guidance counselor, college admission director, parent, student, and a career coach will present suggestions, tips, and advice on getting through the maze of the college application process. Students and parents are invited.

Students and their families are encouraged to use a variety of information sources to select a college and major. The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) provides one such source that is available here. http://research.schev.edu/findacollege.asp
This URL provides a simple map of the colleges and universities in the Commonwealth. Users can filter on a variety of characteristics to limit the display to institutions that may best fit their interest. The links on the page access the institutional profiles which provide overviews.
